Other bars, including P-One Bar, Blue Lotus, Kangaroo, Sunset and Shipwreck start to open at around 11am. This makes Bangla Road a great place to sit and drink a few cold beers whilst people watching during the day.

Soi Crocodile is also known as Andaman Queen, Soi Ladyman and Soi Katoey. This is because it is frequented by ladyboys, Thai males who dress up as (often very beautiful) women.
The ladyboys or katoey, promenade up and down Soi Crocodile trying to lure tourists into having their picture taken with them. It is best to agree a price beforehand for this, as it has been known for the ladyboys to insist on an unr ... Read more...
