Dolphin Bar

Dolphin Bar Inside

The Dolphin Bar is not so much a bar as a whole cluster of related bars, although the actual Dolphin Bar is the busiest and most popular. There are eight bars in this small area, and the clientele tends to bounce between them every evening, moving from one to another.

During the daytime Dolphin Bar serves inexpensive, good quality pub food. Beer is cheap by Phuket standards and there always seems to be a crowd of daytime drinkers enjoying watching the world go by from the comfort of their terrace seat.

20 large screen plasma TVs are dotted around the Dolphin Bar, with sport being the order of the day. If you want to watch an event that is not currently being screened, just talk to a waitress and they will try and arrange it for you.

The waitresses and bar staff are prettier than average, as Dolphin Bar makes an effort to employ only the cutest ones. This combined with the cheap drinks and good quality food makes Dolphin Bar a favorite with the community as well as tourists. All in all, Dolphin Bar is well worth a visit, even if only for a quick lunch and a few bottles of Singha, Leo or Chang beer.
