Kata Beach is actually a name given to two separate beaches, the main beach, and a smaller beach named Kata Noi Beach (little Kata Beach). The main stretch of Kata Beach is generally considered to be one of the best tourist beaches on the island of Phuket, sitting in number two position behind Patong Beach. 1.5km of soft golden sand, with every facility close at hand to ensure that holidaymakers have everything that they require.

Kata Bay is a short journey to the south of Karon Beach. A charming bay, lined with palm trees, and small beach side restaurants. Kata Beach is very popular with families, due to the safe shallow waters of the bay being ideal for swimming for most o ... Read more...

Karon Beach can only be describes as breathtaking. A 3km long bay of soft golden sand, which can be completely deserted in some places. If you are looking for a beach on the island of Phuket where you and your family can have their own private strip, then Karon Beach is where you need to be.

Entire stretches of Karon Beach are entirely undeveloped. Nothing more than the Andaman Ocean in front, soft golden sand underfoot and wild jungle behind. A real castaway experience close to a major tourist town.

Kamala Beach continues this relaxed theme, by providing holidaymakers with a strip of golden sand, much quieter than most other beaches to be found upon the island of Phuket. Development in Kamala seems to have slowed down considerably, and it is likely that this lovely part of Phuket will stay the same for many years to come.

Kamala Beach is not large, only around 800 meters long, and very narrow in some places. Additionally, certain stretches of the beach can become quite littered with flotsa ... Read more...

Naiharn Beach is considered to be one of the best beaches in the Southern part of Phuket. Located close to the coast road, heading south over the hills past Promthemp Cape, Naiharn beach is quite easy to find.

Naiharn Beach is not particularly large, it is less than a kilometer in length, and can be quite narrow, especially around the time of the lowest tides. It also has some of the largest waves to be found around Phuket, and this makes it popular with surfers, body boarders and other water sports enthusiasts. This also means that during some parts of the year, when the seas are a little rough, Naiharn Beach is not very family friendly. In contrast, during the time of year ... Read more...
