The Phuket Shooting Range has been operating for over 10 years, and has gone from being a simple outdoor firing range, to a full complex which includes a 24 alley indoor range and two outdoor ranges.
There is a wide range of firearms available for visitors to try out, and this includes several different calibre of guns, from .22mm to 9mm. The firearms selection includes shotguns, rifles and handguns.
Along side offering visitors a chance to test out some of the most famous firearms of all time, the Phuket Shooting Range also runs special combat shooting courses, designed to give visitors an idea of what it would be like to wield a weapon in a live fire environment. Visitors may also try their hand at clay pigeon shooting.
As well as traditional firearms, Phuket Shooting Range also has a collection of airsoft weapons, paintball guns and even archery equipment which can be tried.
All of the safety equipment at the Phuket Shooting Range is checked regularly, and conforms to national safety standards. Additionally, staff are highly trained and make safety their utmost concern.
Phuket Shooting Range is the only attraction of its kind in Southern Thailand. A safe, well established complex which allows holidaymakers to discover the fun of shooting real weapons. The whole family is welcome, although only people over 16 years of age may fire conventional weapons, younger children can attempt to fire the airsoft weapons as long as they are supervised closely by an adult.
Overall, a visit to Phuket Shooting Gallery is a great day out, and something which contrasts entirely with the beach scene which Phuket is more famous for.
